Program: "Flower Arranging Fun"

Time:  7 p.m.

Place:  Bachman Center at Homestead Village

We will be making floral arrangements for Homestead residents and floral designs to be sold at the "Spring Garden Marketplace."  All skill levels are welcome, whether you are one of our Flower Show Judges or have never attempted an arrangement.  Come and teach, lend a hand, learn or just socialize as we spend the evening together making lovely floral arrangements.

Please bring flowers from your garden, especially foliage for filler, clippers or scissors and unwanted containers for the arrangements.  (Flowers, oasis, and some containers will be provided.)

Program: "Around the Campfire"

Time: 5:30 p.m. Explore the Gardens
          6 p.m. Meeting Time

Place:  Pheasant Run Farm Bed and Breakfast
            200 Marticville Road
            Lancaster, PA 17603

Enjoy a night around the campfire with fellow Town and Country Garden Club members.  We will enjoy a "Show and Tell" time and a Chuckwagon supper.

Unwind and watch the sunset as we sit by the glowing fire and listen to one another's varied ways of sharing our "Show and Tell" items.  Relax together at this fall outdoor meeting at Vivian Abel's country home.  Let's hope for sunny skies but if it's raining, we'll move onto the porch or inside to The Pheasant Room.

Bring a lawn chair and a garden related item for "Show and Tell."

Program: "Northview Through the Seasons"

Time: 7 p.m.

Place: The Bachman Center at Homestead Village

Speaker: Jenny Rose Carey

A native of England, Jenny Rose Carey is a renowned gardener, educator, historian, and author, and the senior director of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's Meadowbrook.  Jenny will be talking about her recently released book for Timber Press, The Ultimate Flower Gardener's Guide.  Using her photos, she will guide us to look at designing our flower beds by looking at flower shapes, forms, and colors.  She will give us examples of flowers that she loves for each season and explain how she prolongs the flowery show in her garden "Northview" in Ambler, Pennsylvania.  She will also bring copies of her new book for sale.  (Hint: They would make nice Christmas gifts.)
